Ticket sales are now live for the 2026 edition of the Abergavenny Food Festival, as organisers prepare to welcome thousands of visitors back to the market town this autumn.

Food lovers can mark their calendars for Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September 2026, when Abergavenny will once again transform into a vibrant hub of food, drink, live music and conversation.

Weekend tickets are now available for £26, including booking fee, while day tickets cost £17. Under-16s can attend for free. Organisers have also confirmed a local resident discount for those with NP7 postcodes, which is automatically applied at checkout.

Known as one of Wales’ most popular food events, the festival brings together leading chefs, independent producers and visitors from across the UK for a weekend celebrating Welsh food and drink alongside wider culinary talent.

This year’s programme will include more than 60 events and over 120 producers, alongside live music, debates and the festival’s well-known food quiz hosted on the Dome stage.

Festival favourites are also set to return, including Cooking over Fire in the castle grounds, The Market Hall, Local & Vocal, and the popular wine and cheese stalls.

Organisers say visitors can expect two completely different days of entertainment and experiences, with everything from street food and tastings to demonstrations, talks and live cooking sessions taking place across the town.

The popular Party in the Castle event will also return on the Saturday evening, although tickets for that are sold separately.

The festival has built a reputation for its relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, helping make it a standout event in the Welsh food calendar each year.

As summer fades into autumn, venues and streets across Abergavenny are expected to come alive once again with producers, chefs, performers and food enthusiasts gathering for a weekend celebrating creativity, community and great food.
