olice have launched an attempted murder investigation following a single vehicle collision on the A44 near Capel Bangor, Aberystwyth.
The incident happened at around 8.50pm on Tuesday, June 30.
A 24 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, domestic abuse and dangerous driving. He remains in police custody.
Dyfed Powys Police said enquiries are progressing under the direction of CID and the major crime team, with an increased police presence expected to remain in the area over the coming days.
As part of the investigation, officers are appealing for witnesses and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
Police would like to hear from:
- Anyone who witnessed a disturbance in or around Capel Bangor, Aberystwyth, at around the time of the incident.
- Anyone with mobile phone, video or dashcam footage of a disturbance or the people involved.
- Anyone who was on the A44 near Capel Bangor during this time.
- Anyone who can identify any other people who were present at the location.
Anyone with information is asked to report it through the dedicated major incident portal.
