Forty-one energy efficient properties have recently been successfully completed by the Barcud group in the centre of Crymych, Pembrokeshire. The £9m development includes a mixture of one, two, three and four bed houses as well as two and three bed bungalows, and providing a combination of tenures with 20 social rented and 21 properties under the Welsh Government shared ownership scheme. Neil Sanders has purchased The Bell Country Inn at Llanyre with the aim of breathing new life into the former 17th century drovers’ resting place and watering hole, which officially opens for business on Saturday, April 25. A man with links to Bristol has been ordered to pay more than £5,000 after a hidden camera in Neath caught a series of fly-tipping incidents. A company had been experiencing several cases of waste being illegally deposited near their entrance off the A4109 in Crynant, which included piles of interior wall rendering. Police are appealing for help to find a missing man from Maesteg amid concerns for his welfare. Thomas Lewis, 37, was last seen at around 1pm yesterday (Sunday, April 19) on Garn Road in Maesteg. He is described as bald with a ginger or brown beard and wears glasses. Thomas is usually seen wearing jeans and a shirt style jacket, and sometimes a bobble hat.
