Six year 10 pupils from Ysgol Dyffryn Conwy, Llanrwst, learned an array of new skills while transforming a formerly disused courtyard in the school grounds. A Wrexham man has been sent to prison for 26 weeks for the neglect and suffering of a number of animals while in breach of a disqualification order. Nicholas John Low, Wrexham, appeared at Wrexham Magistrates’ Court for sentencing on Tuesday 18 July. He had previously been found guilty following a trial on Wednesday 7 June of five offences under the Animal Welfare Act.
