A Cardiff woman has been banned from keeping all animals for five years after admitting causing unnecessary suffering to a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Rhianne Saville of Cath Cob Close, Cardiff, was sentenced at Cardiff Magistrates Court on Friday, September 2 after the hearing was told how the dog called Dior was severely underweight and had been suffering. Newport will be host to the Wales and the Battle of Britain 80th anniversary exhibition this September as part of the nationwide commemorations marking an important chapter in the history of the Second World War. A Newport shop, its director and manager were sentenced yesterday for 26 offences of selling food past the expiry date and one offence in relation to a misleading label. As part of Caerphilly County Borough Council’s ongoing asset maintenance programme, Wilkins Terrace Footbridge will be undergoing refurbishment works from Friday the 16th September 2022 for six weeks.
