Work is set to begin on Monday 15 August for the instalment of an electric vehicle charging hub at West Kinmel Street Car Park, Rhyl. The charge park, the first of its size in Wales and the second current largest in the UK, will offer capability for charging 36 vehicles simultaneously. The Leader of Neath Port Talbot Council, Cllr Steve Hunt, has congratulated Neath Cricket Club on its success in attracting senior Glamorgan matches to its Gnoll Ground for the first time in more than 20 years. Vandals recently damaged five trees planted in one of Newport’s beautiful ornamental parks.
