Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council has launched a grants programme to help social enterprises, community groups, tourism businesses and sports clubs pay for capital projects. The Social Enterprise, Tourism & Sport (SETS) Capital Grant will support applicants in carrying out building and infrastructure work, and making large purchases to help them expand their existing services and activities. Improvement works to refurbish one of Cardiff’s play areas has begun this month. Llandaff Fields Play area will be undertaking improvements to the play area from October 2021. All the current play equipment in the play area will remain open for the majority of the works.
