Two Penarth neighbours have kicked off their weekend in style after they each netted a £30,000 cash prize with People’s Postcode Lottery. The cash windfall follows their postcode, CF64 2TH, being announced as a winner with the lottery on Saturday 18th September. Swansea Arena hosted careers advisers from schools on Thursday (16 September) to show off the hundreds of different roles involved in construction. Careers advisers from schools in the Swansea area heard how pupils interested in any subject can find a role suitable for them in the sector. A fund-raising campaign for a brave little girl battling an incurable disease has been given a big boost – in the form a giant pink dragon cake. Three year old Nova Martin-Roxburgh needs three specialist supportive body suits to help her walk when she gets older. The former multi use games area (MUGA) at Crescent Road, Rhyl has recently been transformed into a functional and attractive Green Open Space on a busy street in West Rhyl. During a twelve-month period, Contractors, Countryside Services and Keep Wales Tidy staff worked together to create the green space and site owners Countryside Services will continue to maintain the evolving site.
