A Caerphilly fundraising group for a leading end of life charity have set up a pop-up shop in the town centre to support people living with a terminal illness, and their loved ones. Marie Curie’s Caerphilly fundraising group opened the store in an empty unit in the town’s Castle Court shopping centre and had crafts and “nearly new” clothes up for sale.   The store, set up on October 22 and 23, was officially opened by the town’s MS, Hefin David. Towns and villages across North East Wales are being challenged to come up with innovative green projects to earn a slice of a £1.3 million fund aimed at boosting the local environment.
