RCT Council has provided an update on the further progress made so far in 2021 towards the Tylorstown Landslip Remediation Plan – which is illustrated by new drone footage showing the current appearance of the site. The landslip occurred on the Llanwonno hillside at Tylorstown during Storm Dennis in February 2020, when Rhondda Cynon Taf recorded record rainfall and suffered its most severe flooding since the 1970s. The landslip, consisting of 60,000 tonnes of spoil material, blocked the river valley, damaged a foul sewer, covered a strategic water main and covered a footpath/cycle path. Essential work is to take place on the A483 in Wrexham between junctions 5 and 7 to increase the length of two central reserve crossovers together with drainage and barrier upgrades. The works will begin on June 1 and are programmed to take six weeks. These crossover improvements are vital to ensure contra-flow arrangements are in place to facilitate future carriageway resurfacing work. According to the statistics published by the Office for National Statistics (ONS), they noted that there was an increase in the number of divorces of heterosexual couples, from 18.4 per cent from 90,871 in 2018 to 107,599 in 2019.
