A daredevil Monmouth woman will be leaping from 12,000 feet this month to raise funds for a cause close to her heart. Mrs Lisa Hicks will be taking part in her first skydive in memory of Tom Walker and is raising money for the fund established by Cancer Research Wales in his name. CHRIS ROBERTS had flu symptoms and was poorly for days before suffering a heart attack six years ago. A SITE manager for the Magor-based Edenstone Group is swapping his hard hat for a cycle helmet and riding 200 miles in memory of his son to raise funds for the RNLI. Passionate fisherman Mike Bindon was just 23 when he was swept out to sea off the coast of Cornwall in January 2014 after being hit by a freak wave. Swansea University is building on its successful collaboration with Trent University in Canada to launch an additional opportunity for transatlantic study. Swansea has already established a dual degree arrangement in law and chemical engineering with the Ontario university.
