Public notices have been published as part of plans to relocate the pedestrian crossing at A4059 (Ynys) Roundabout in Aberdare – to improve links between the town centre, school and leisure centre, and improve A4059 traffic flow. There are currently two crossing points at the Ynys Roundabout – a toucan crossing and a steep footbridge over the road. These enable pedestrians to move between Duke Street and the Sobell school and leisure site, and in the direction of Aberdare Railway Station, Robertstown and Abernant. Last year Denbighshire County Council identified 21 sites including highway verges, footpath edges, cycleways and amenity grasslands, to be managed to create wildflower meadows. A decision to delay the start of the long-awaited no-fault divorce until 2022 is disappointing, says Cardiff-based leading national law firm Clarke Willmott. The landmark legislation which was due to come into force in October has now been put back to April 2022 to allow sufficient time to sort out technical issues.
