Sixty-two new dual electric vehicle 22kw fast charging units have been installed at thirty-four sites across Gwent. The project has been delivered in partnership between the five Gwent local authorities: Caerphilly County Borough Council, Torfaen County Borough Council, Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council, Newport City Council and Monmouthshire County Council. Welsh charity City Hospice has relaunched an innovative fundraising campaign to support the day-to-day work of their 14 Clinical Nurse Specialists. A group of determined veterans are on a mission to restore a dilapidated war cemetery in honour of 48 fallen First World War heroes with the help of cash confiscated from criminals.
