More than £18m will support the creative industries, culture and sport sectors, which are feeling the immediate impact of COVID-19. All GP practices in Wales can now access a new system, which allows people to have online appointments with their doctor and other healthcare professionals. Original plans to launch the NHS Wales Video Consulting Service later this year were accelerated by the Welsh Government and software providers TEC Cymru, in response to the coronavirus outbreak. The number of confirmed new Coronavirus cases have risen by 274 in Wales, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 1,837. There has also been 29 further deaths of people who had tested positive for Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), the highest daily figure reported in Wales to date. Aneurin Bevan health board is still at the centre of the highest number of confirmed cases in Wales.
