Officers are appealing for information on a distraction burglary at the home of an elderly woman on Christmas Eve. Sometime between 1.30pm and 3pm on Tuesday, December 24, an unknown man, described as immaculate and well-spoken, attended the woman’s house in Maddocks Place, Bridgend. Swansea Bay’s speech and language team has given the profession plenty to talk about after picking up a major Public Health Wales award.
