A fox has had a lucky escape after he was trapped by garden fencing in Penclawdd, Swansea. The fox was found this week (30 December) after he had managed to get his back leg caught in a wire fence at a garden in West End Road. RSPCA inspector Gemma Cooper attended at 11am following a call to the animal welfare charity. Rural Affairs Minister Lesley Griffiths has confirmed farm funding in Wales for 2020 following the UK Government’s announcement they will provide £243m for the Basic Payment Scheme in 2020. Cardiff Bus has announced that it will be offering a free late-night service on some of its routes this New Year’s Eve.
