Eastern Airways is re-introducing a Flybe franchise service linking Cardiff with Aberdeen. [aoa id=”1″] The UK regional airline will offer a daily service from the national airport for Wales to the UK’s offshore capital from 11 November 2019. With 10 flights a week, services will depart Cardiff, Monday-Friday, at 10.20am. Return services on Monday-Thursday leave Aberdeen at 11.55am, and at 10.55am on Fridays. Primary school children from across Wales united to find out more about climate change and what is being done to combat it. At the Youth Summit held in Swansea the youngsters met with researchers and representatives from organisations who are addressing climate change as well as taking part in special workshops which demonstrated how. These included activities around air monitoring, how to be wise with water, use of plastic, sustainable transport and marine biology. The Collection is being curated by food and drink journalist and broadcaster Nigel Barden, and will map the UK’s best produce and producers as it launches this month. Representatives from North Wales Economic Ambition Board joined the Welsh and UK Governments to sign Heads of Terms and agree the seven programmes that will form the Deal from 2020 onwards. The Heads of Terms commits the two Governments to investing £240m into programmes that will have a positive impact on thousands of households, businesses and organisations across the region. Andrew Lee Jones of Tonypandy, appeared at Merthyr Magistrates’ Court on Friday (1 November) for sentencing. He had pleaded guilty to one offence under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 on 30 October. He had admitted that on 1 May this year in the area of de Winton Street, Tonypandy, he intentionally killed a gull. CCTV footage caught Jones trample and kick the gull – which sadly died in consequence of his actions. An RSPCA appeal for information was launched in June as part of enquiries into the incident.
