Jason Farrell, 49, has today been sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 26 years for the murder of Sammy Lee Lodwig, and a 14-year term for GBH assault on Christopher Maher, to run concurrently. The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for further heavy rain on Saturday leading to some flooding and travel disruption.
