Team members at one of Wales’s leading factories have teed off for the 12th year raising over £36,000 in aid of their chosen charity, the Princess of Wales Hospital. Staff from Sony UK Technology Centre took to the green at the Celtic Manor’s Montgomery Course for the charity event. Throughout the day, those who joined included supporters of the Pencoed facility, suppliers and third-party manufacturing clients, along with local businesspeople, and stars of the sporting world, making up 25 teams in total. Bus passengers and those heading to the capital for the 16th annual Cardiff Half Marathon are getting important travel advice from Cardiff Bus. The bus operator is alerting passengers to diversions and bus stop changes throughout Sunday October 6, as 27,000 runners are expected to flood the city’s streets.
