Local girl, Alice Walters, 22, from Newcastle Emlyn has secured a place in the final of Miss Wales 2019.  She is one of 40 chosen from over 1,000 entrants from across Wales  Alice, who works as an Administrative Officer at Antur Teifi, is a keen fundraiser for the charity Bobath Wales – a cause close to her heart – and along with her family, has raised over £40,000 for the charity. Pioneering social enterprise Rhyl City Strategy (RCS Wales) is inviting providers of physical and psychological therapies, and legal and financial support, to help deliver their flagship In Work Support Service. Tourism chiefs have hailed news that the All-Wales Boat and Leisure Show is coming to the Anglesey Showground as an economic boost for the island. Rougemont School has launched a purpose-built education building, just in time for the start of the new term, after securing multi-million-pound funding from NatWest.
