A pioneering boys choir celebrated their fifth birthday in style with a rousing performance at an international music festival. The North Wales Only Boys Aloud choir took centre stage at the North Wales International Music Festival’s opening concert at St Asaph Cathedral. Tributes have been paid to a D-Day veteran,who was injured twice during the pivotal campaign, following his death at the age of 95. Dennis Young passed away at the Maelor Hospital in Wrexham three months after he wore in his medals with pride at a commemorative event to mark the 75th anniversary of the largest seaborne invasion in history.
