Home-Start in Carmarthenshire, headquartered in Ammanford, provides life-changing support for local families when they face challenging times. The charity works with vulnerable families in Carmarthenshire, providing practical aid and emotional support through a series of initiatives including dedicated Family Workers and a 1:1 intensive programme of support. Detectives investigating the sudden death of a 17-year-old boy have warned an extremely potent batch of drugs could be circulating in the Rhondda. Officers were called to an address in Treherbert earlier this afternoon where the youth was in cardiac arrest. He later died at the scene. A short time later, officers received a report that a second person from Treorchy had been rushed to hospital, where he currently remains in a serious condition. Wales saw the highest increase in employment across the UK this year, according to KPMG UK’s latest Economic Outlook report. Transport for Wales (TfW) is pleased to announce that it is moving to the “Delay Repay” scheme to compensate customers for unexpected delays and cancellations. [aoa id=”1″] Customers who experience a delay or cancellation on a TfW service can claim through the new scheme.  Compensation will now be based on the time the customer should have arrived at their final destination station, when they have been delayed by 30 minutes or more.
