Cyclist Ronald Triggs, aged 71, died after a collision with a VW Transport at about 1.30pm. At 12:45 hours on Saturday November 24th 2018 a serious Road Traffic Collision occurred whereby all four male occupants of a Green Rover 25 motor vehicle have sustained serious life threatening and life changing injuries. The vehicle was in collision with a tree on Gellifowy Road, Ynysmeudwy, Pontardawe. The family of a man found dead in St Mellons earlier this week have paid tribute to him and urged the public to come forward with information. The body of Anthony Winter, 32, from Pentwyn, was found in woodland near Brookfield Drive shortly before 7.15am on Thursday, November 22. Five people – a 16-year-old boy, two men aged 19 and 27, a 17-year-old girl and a 19-year-old woman – have since been arrested on suspicion of his murder, and remain in police custody.
