Swansea-based AB Glass has recently completed a contract to undertake refurbishment work at Specsavers’ support office in Guernsey. The award winning aluminium manufacturing and installation company was appointed by one of Guernsey’s longest established building contractors, Rihoy & Son, to provide its services at the optical retailer’s support office in St Andrew’s, Guernsey. Working alongside architect André Bisson of A7 Design, AB Glass designed, manufactured and installed aluminium systems including Kawneer AA100 curtain walling and AA190 doors. St Tydfil Shopping Centre is delighted to be bringing back its Santa’s grotto giving children the chance to share their festive wishes with Father Christmas. The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is calling for more whistle-blowers to expose business cartels with the launch of a national awareness campaign. People who have lost a lower limb now have faster access to rehabilitation thanks to an innovative group at Morriston Hospital. The strengthening and conditioning group for those with lower limb amputations was set up by physiotherapist Laura Braithwaite and has provided rehabilitation for patients across South West Wales. Laura said: “We are a multi-disciplinary team of physiotherapists, an occupational therapist and a specialist nurse. “Before we started this group, patients would have been seen in our consultant clinic and then put on a waiting list to be assessed by a physiotherapist, which would take around 40 days. “It was…
