A motorcyclist who died following a collision on Neath Road, Briton Ferry on Friday evening, has been named as local man Andrew Taylor aged 29. A father and son have been jailed for a total of 16 years after keeping a vulnerable man as a ‘slave’ for two years. Anthony Baker, aged 49, previously pleaded guilty to holding a man in servitude and subjecting him to forced or compulsory labour contrary to the Modern Slavery Act as well as four counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, one count of unlawful wounding, and one count of inflicting grievous bodily harm. A man has been sentenced to nine years imprisonment for rape. Mohammed Noor Ali, aged 36, of no fixed abode, was charged with rape and was sentenced at Cardiff Crown Court today. Cardiff & Vale Health Charity has announced they have agreed to fund the Park and Ride service at the University Hospital of Wales (UHW), helping to improve patient experience by making parking easier for patients, visitors and staff.
