Tuesday the 11th of December saw the launch of a new partnership between learning technology solution specialists Aspire2Be and six Ceredigion rugby clubs as part of the Scarlets’ Three Counties, Three Years strategy. Brexit uncertainty is continuing to be felt in the housing market in Wales, with surveyors expecting prices and sales to edge lower in the three months ahead, according to the latest RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) Residential Market Survey. A new project looking at the history of Tiger Bay, through the eyes of people who came from across the world to work in Cardiff, is getting underway thanks to National Lottery funding. Brian Ward, 62, from Pontyclun, has evaded authorities since 2013, was found by a police officer hiding behind a false wall in a Cardiff flat on Thursday, December 6th, 2018. While making enquiries, the officer heard voices inside a flat which was being linked to Ward. While outside the address, the officer called a phone that was being linked to him and he heard the ringtone inside the flat. He went inside and after searching behind a bedroom mirror, the officer spotted Ward cowering behind a false wall. He was arrested at the scene and appeared at Cardiff Crown Court…

Drivers are reminded that work by Highways England to create a toll-free journey into Wales will start on Friday. Both bridges over the Severn river in to Wales will undergo changes to create a route that means drivers will no longer have to stop to pay the toll. From 9am on Friday, 14 December three lanes at the toll plaza will be closed on the M4 Prince of Wales Bridge to allow work to start with the remaining lanes open as usual.
