An investigation has been launched by South Wales Police following a serious assault outside The Church Inn, in Old St Mellons, Cardiff. A man, 61, is in a critical condition in hospital following the incident which happened at approximately 1am on Saturday, May 3. Detectives are looking for the 28 year-old suspect and are appealing for anybody who may have witnessed the incident to make contact. Construction workloads in Wales rose through the first three months of 2025 according to the latest Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Construction Monitor, as a rise in public housing activity bolsters the sector.
