WELSH scientists are hoping to revolutionise the diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer using world-leading MRI technology that’s only available in Cardiff. Prostate cancer is the most common type of cancer in men in Wales, with 2,500 cases diagnosed each year and 600 deaths annually. Bridgend County Borough Council has confirmed that action is being taken after a number of caravans gained access to playing fields at Litchard late on Monday evening. Neath Port Talbot Council’s Environmental Health Team has successfully prosecuted a woman in the Amman Valley for failing to stop feeding wildlife after her actions attracted a substantial number of rodents to the area.
