George Tetzlaff, 26 from Swansea was charged with multiple offences including:

    • Concerned in the supply of Class A – Namely Cocaine
    • Possession of Criminal Property
    • Possession of a bladed article
    • Possession of a weapon for the discharge of noxious liquid or gas

He was sentenced to five years and seven months in prison at Swansea Crown Court on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, after pleading guilty to all offences.

On Saturday June 29, Tetzlaff was arrested following officers attending a report of a sighting of him, due to him being wanted on recall to prison. He tried to run but was detained and arrested for the recall.

A search of Tetzlaff and his bag took place, in the bag officers found, a lock knife, clear empty snap bags, CS Gas and cash.

As he was being booked the into the custody suite officers saw a text message on Tetzlaff’s mobile relating to drug supply.

    Police Constable Sam Tobin said:

“Tetzlaff was apprehended by officers, despite his efforts to evade police. Whilst detained he was found to be in possession of CS-SPRAY and a lock-knife, with evidence on his phone linking him to the supply of class A drugs. South Wales Police take a robust approach to this type of offending which poses a risk to the most vulnerable in our communities, ensuring that the South Wales area continues to be a safe place to live.

Intelligence from the public is invaluable when it comes to tackling organised crime. We urge anyone with information regarding weapons or drug dealing to tell us what they know by contacting us on 101 or by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
