WebBox has moved from Penarth to Cardiff and purchased a 5,000 sq ft workspace near Cardiff city centre.

WebBox founder Will Roberts purchased a 5,000 sq ft workspace near Cardiff city centre, as the company had outgrown its Penarth base.

Mr Roberts says the new office, located off Ocean Way, will provides the business with an improved work environment – including open plan areas, two work pods, meeting rooms and breakout areas – and would portray the brand and its values.

The breakout pods at WebBox, Cardiff.

He added the new workspace, purchased with company funds, will also facilitate the brand’s forecasted 2020 growth, which is expected to exceed a 20% year on year growth in revenue by the year’s end.

The office even has a full-sized football table

Speaking about the move, Mr Roberts, said: “The purchase of our new workspace is an investment that will help us continue to grow our digital services, expand our nationwide client-base, and create more career opportunities in the Welsh capital.

“It’s a long term move for WebBox, and this investment will allow us to meet the increased demand for our digital services.

“I’m happy to say that, despite the agency’s growth, we’ve continued to keep this ethos at the core of WebBox, and I really do believe that it’s this approach that has earned us our exceptional client base.”

WebBox has had contracts with Fever-Tree, Twickenham Stadium, Airbus, the NHS, and several FTSE 100 companies.

Mr Roberts said WebBox’s continued growth will create approximately five new jobs in Cardiff.
