A further 500 spaces have been released for the Bryn Meadows Caerphilly 10K after the initial allocation of race entries filled up following strong demand.

The popular road race, which takes place on Sunday 10th May, has already seen thousands of people secure their place on the start line, with organisers now opening more entries to give even more participants the opportunity to take part.

This year’s race will also feature a new route through Caerphilly, designed to provide a faster and more enjoyable experience for participants of all abilities, including those aiming to achieve a personal best.

The event is delivered by Sport Caerphilly and supports the council’s Sport and Active Recreation Strategy 2019-29, which aims to create more opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to take part in sport and physical activity.

With places expected to fill quickly, people are encouraged to secure their entry soon.

Entries for this year’s event are available now at www.caerphilly10k.co.uk.
