The Celtic Manor Resort is pulling out all the stops this October half-term with a packed line-up of Halloween-inspired activities for families to enjoy. From pumpkin patches with stunning views to glow-in-the-dark art sessions and ghoulish afternoon teas, there’s something for everyone to get into the spooky spirit.

NEW for 2025 – The Pumpkin Patch at Celtic Manor Resort (18 October – 2 November)
For the first time, guests can visit a rooftop pumpkin patch at the resort’s Rooftop Terrace. Visitors can pick their perfect pumpkin, carve it on site, and enjoy seasonal treats such as pumpkin spiced lattes and monstrous freak-shakes while taking in panoramic views of the Usk Valley.
Entry is free, with pumpkins priced at £15 including all carving materials.

Glow Gallery & Halloween Crafts (18 October – 2 November)
Young guests can head to Dracula’s Den for a creative twist on Halloween fun. Expect glow-in-the-dark painting, spooky mask-making and other themed crafts that are perfect for keeping little hands busy over the school holidays.

Terrifyingly Tasty Afternoon Tea with Complimentary Adventure Golf (27 October – 1 November)
Families can tuck into a special Halloween afternoon tea at The Olive Tree & Garden Room before taking on a complimentary round of adventure golf. It’s an ideal way to enjoy a treat together and spend time outdoors away from screens.

Spooktacular Halloween Buffet (31 October only)
On Halloween night itself, the resort will host a themed buffet tea packed with devilishly good sweet and savoury dishes for all ages. Expect plenty of spooky surprises and a fun, family-friendly atmosphere.

All events take place at The Celtic Manor Resort, Coldra Wood, The Usk Valley, Chepstow Road, Newport (NP18 1HQ).

The resort is also running a range of other family-friendly activities throughout half-term, from archery and swimming to woodland walks and adventure play.
