Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of Maes-Y-Felin Care Home in the market town of Llanybydder, South West Wales.

Maes-Y-Felin Care Home is an exceptionally well-run, cosy home accommodating up to 19 residents. It occupies a quaint, detached property with a well-maintained interior that is surrounded by a lawned garden. It is nestled behind a private drive, in a convenient and accessible location just off the busy A475 road.

It has been owned by Nalini Parmar and Katherine Bray since the 1990s. The pair recently decided to sell to allow them to retire.

Following a confidential sales process with Oliver McCarthy at Christie & Co, it has been sold to a family group comprising Stuart Samuel, Lauren Samuel-Wrightson and Lee Samuel-Wrightson. Lauren has worked in the care sector for several years, previously having run the successful care home Llysgwyn House in Swansea.

Stuart, Lauren and Lee, the new owners, comment, “The three of us are absolutely delighted to be taking over Maes-Y-Felin Care Home. From the moment we first visited, we felt an immediate warmth and sense of family that Nalini and Katherine have so clearly built over the years. Their dedication and care for the residents truly shine through, and we feel very privileged to continue that legacy. As a family, we are passionate about keeping Maes-Y-Felin a true family-run home for future generations and continuing to build on its wonderful reputation.”

Oliver McCarthy, Director – Care at Christie & Co, comments, “I was delighted to be able to help Nalini and Katherine find suitable owners for Maes-Y-Felin, and wish Stuart, Lauren and Lee all the best with running such a special business for many years to come.”

Maes-Y-Felin Care Home was sold freehold for an undisclosed price.
