Family-run housing construction company, Llanmoor Homes, are celebrating further company triumphs this month having been recognised at the Local Authority Building Control’s Regional Building Excellence Awards.

Run from its headquarters in Talbot Green, Llanmoor Homes have property development sites across South Wales from Newport to Port Talbot and pride themselves on offering modern, spacious and energy efficient homes.

The Local Authority Building Control organisation represents Local Authority Building control teams, supporting construction companies and building professionals and ensuring developments meet the essential construction regulations under Welsh building requirements

Run yearly, the LABC Regional Building Excellence Awards celebrate the successes and quality of building projects across the UK, and Llanmoor are pleased to have been awarded Large Volume Housing Development for their Pentre Felin, Tondu (Bridgend) and Padfield Court, Tonyrefail (Rhondda Cynon Taff) developments for the Wales Region.

Pentre Felin and Padfield Court have been highly sought-after developments with Pentre Felin now being fully sold out, and only a handful of homes remaining for price release and construction at Padfield Court.

Padfield Court adds its latest LABC Cymru Award to its current successes with its Site Manager winning Best Site Manager Medium Category at the NHBC Pride in the Job Awards Wales for three successive years from 2015.

Llanmoor are also celebrating the achievements of one of its Site Managers, Mark Thomas, who has been nominated for the Best Construction Professional Award whilst managing the Waterloo Gardens, Newport  development.

Tim Grey, Director of Llanmoor Homes said:

“We’re incredibly proud to see Mark being recognised within the industry again for his continued high-quality management of our sites, this year in particular, Waterloo Gardens.

“Mark is an enthusiastic and hard-working member of staff and following his success in the NHBC Pride in the Job Regional Awards for the previous two years, this latest nomination goes to show his commitment to ensuring the sites are developed to the highest standard, and we all wish him well with the shortlisting process.

“It is also pleasing to see the successes of Pentre Felin and Padfield Court recognised by the wider industry, both sites having proved popular with home buyers in their respective areas.“
