The final fortnight of City of Arcades 2025 begins! From 3rd November Cardiff city centre turns its focus to Health & Beauty in a celebration of wellbeing, self-care and style in the heart of the capital.

From rejuvenating wellness sessions and indulgent spa evenings to exclusive discounts on treatments and products, it’s a perfect opportunity to relax, recharge and indulge in some self-care ahead of the busy festive season.

Health & Beauty Fortnight is the final themed chapter in the City of Arcades 2025 campaign, which celebrates 70 years of Cardiff as Wales’s capital city. Now in its eighth year, City of Arcades is delivered by FOR Cardiff, the Business Improvement District (BID) for the city centre, and spotlights the unique mix of independent and national businesses across Cardiff’s Victorian and Edwardian arcades and St David’s Dewi Sant.

Health & Beauty Fortnight: Events & Experiences

5th November – Holland House Hotel’s Relax & Reconnect Evening: Step away from the fast pace of the workday and indulge in an evening designed to restore balance and wellbeing. Enjoy exclusive spa promotions, tailored mini treatments, and limited-time discounts on Ishga’s award-winning range of natural skincare, all while sampling light, nourishing canapés. Book your spot here.

11th November – Sweaty Betty’s Menopause & Movement Event: Join Sweaty Betty Cardiff for an empowering evening all about staying healthy and happy through menopause and perimenopause. Expect open discussions, expert advice, and a 20–30 minute strength and resistance class, followed by a private shopping experience and refreshments.

Health & Beauty Fortnight also brings exclusive in-store experiences, pampering sessions and discounts across Cardiff’s arcades and St David’s Dewi Sant:

    • 20% off all laser treatments at Beauty Advance
    • Complimentary veil with all bridal gown purchases at Eva Ashley
    • Rise Yoga sessions at Holland & Barrett
    • Estée Lauder Makeup Masterclass at John Lewis
    • Discover the new Rituals Collection at Rituals

Whether it’s a quick pick-me-up, a wellness experience, or the perfect new product discovery, Health & Beauty Fortnight has something for everyone.

Carolyn Brownell, Executive Director of FOR Cardiff, said: “Health & Beauty Fortnight is the perfect finale to our 2025 City of Arcades campaign; a moment to pause, prioritise wellbeing, and celebrate the incredible businesses that make Cardiff such a vibrant place to live, work and visit. As we head into the busy Christmas party season, it’s a great reminder to take time for a little self-care, and to enjoy everything our city centre has to offer.

We’ve got more exciting plans to share soon for Christmas in Cardiff, so watch this space.”
