Estate agent Cavendish is holding a free seminar for landlords at Theatr Clwyd on Monday 26 October.
The Big Clwyd Landlord Update will be led by Cavendish Managing Director David Adams and Operations Director Nicola Blake.
It will focus on challenges facing North Wales landlords, including tax rises, digital reporting requirements, and property standards and compliance.
Issues to be covered include 2027 tax rises, Making Tax Digital, Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) changes, the Renting Homes (Wales) Act, Fitness for Human Habitation and property standards, and Rent Smart Wales re-registration.
It is the first time Cavendish has held The Big Clwyd Landlord Update. It follows The Big Chester Landlord Briefing earlier this year, which was attended by more than 200 landlords.
The event is due to finish at 8pm, and landlords will have the opportunity to ask the Cavendish team further questions after the session.
David Adams, who is also the author of The Landlord’s Playbook, said: “Whether you own one buy-to-let or manage a growing portfolio across Flintshire and the Vale of Clwyd, this evening is built for you.”
He added: “While the Renters’ Rights Act doesn’t apply to Wales, we know that there are many other challenges keeping landlords awake at night and causing them to ask whether it still makes sense to operate in the sector.”
“Falling foul of the new rules and regulations is not only stressful, it can also be expensive in terms of fines,” he said.
Landlords can register for the free event online. Cavendish has offices in Ruthin, Mold and Chester.
