    Being at home and having free time means you are free from the pressures present at the workplace. While you can use this time to relax and unwind, you can also set aside some time to improve yourself as you look forward to returning to work. Here are some ways you can use your stress-free home time to improve your productivity.

    a) Be Creative

    Without the pressures to deliver, you can use your free time to be creative. Having free time all to yourself means you can break from the norm and do something that you love without the worry of failure. This also means you will be challenging yourself and facing your fears and doubts without any pressures or expectations. This lets you explore ideas and even find inspiration from mundane places. This allows you to identify areas you can improve on and what works. Being at home also means you can try various time management techniques to see what works for you.

    c) Explore working from home options

    Being at home may also be a good time to evaluate If working from home can be a viable option in the future. With workplaces now embracing and even promoting work from home practices, you can use this time to assess how practicable this option can be for you. This may assist you in identifying weakness areas you can improve on to make working from home efficient and productive.

    d) Improve your skills

    With the ever-changing trends, staying up to date ensures you stay competitive in your field. This means you need to be constantly improving or learning new skills. One of the best times to learn a new skill is the time you are at home. It is important to identify gaps in your skillset and find ways to improve. One of the best and most effective ways to improve your skills without leaving the comfort of your home is to take an online course. You can find free and paid options from the best institutions and platforms around the world. This is a sure way to improve your professional development and increase your value.
