Keep Wales Tidy is pleased to announce an exciting new partnership with award-winning Welsh mineral water brand, Brecon Carreg.

The partnership will see Brecon Carreg staff rolling up their sleeves to improve and rebuild hedgerows, helping to restore a vital habitat for wildlife, and support a series of beach and river cleans across Carmarthenshire.

“Our consumers are increasingly concerned about the impact of their consumption on the environment and we share this concern. Plastic bottles contribute to the overall problem of plastic pollution.

“Brecon Carreg wants to address this changing context in a meaningful and ambitious way. Our ‘Source of Change’ packaging strategy is clustered around four key drivers: Reinvent, Reduce, Recycle and Restore. Transparency and partnerships are fundamentally underlying this strategy. As such Brecon Carreg are proud to a Keep Wales Tidy Strategic Partner.”

Sustainability is one of the strategic pillars of Brecon Carreg. As such their vision ‘Natural Hydration, Healthy Tomorrow’ won them BITC Responsible SME Business of the Year 2018.

Lesley Jones, Chief Executive from Keep Wales Tidy said:

“We’re excited to have established this new partnership with Brecon Carreg – a proud Welsh company that places great importance on sustainability and protecting nature.

“Working together across sectors is vital to tackling our environmental challenges and we look forward to making a positive difference with Brecon Carreg.”
