A man has been charged to court after cash and drugs were seized during a plain clothes patrol in Ely.
South Wales Police confirmed that around £8,300 in cash and 809 grams of cannabis were recovered by officers on Wednesday evening in the Ely area of Cardiff.
The seizure was made by officers carrying out proactive patrols, targeting suspected drug activity in the community.
One man was arrested in Heol Trelai and has since been charged to appear at court.
Police say the action forms part of ongoing efforts to disrupt drug supply and associated criminality in Cardiff’s neighbourhoods.
