Persimmon Homes has announced that Stuart Phillips has been appointed Regional Managing Director for Wales.

The appointment follows Stuart’s strong leadership of Persimmon’s West Wales regional business, where he will continue to serve as Managing Director alongside his new wider responsibilities.

In his new role, Stuart will support the East Wales region, working closely with Managing Director Lee Hawker, while helping to strengthen Persimmon’s approach to housing delivery across Wales. Stuart will continue to report to Regional Chairman, Stephen Cleveley.

As Regional Managing Director for Wales, Stuart will play a key role in supporting the business’ work with local authorities, RSLs/housing associations and other partners to deliver high-quality new homes in communities across Wales.

Commenting on his appointment, Stuart Phillips said:

“I am delighted to be taking on the role of Regional Managing Director for Wales, while continuing to lead our West Wales business.

“As the nation’s leading housebuilder, Persimmon has a strong and established presence across Wales, and I look forward to working closely with colleagues in both West and East Wales as we continue to deliver high-quality new homes for local people.

“Our focus will remain on identifying the right opportunities, strengthening our partnerships, and continuing to play a positive role in the communities where we build.”

    Regional Chairman, Stephen Cleveley, added:

“Stuart’s appointment is testament to the strong leadership he has shown in West Wales and the success he has helped deliver for the business.

“His experience, relationships and understanding of the Welsh housing landscape will be invaluable as we continue to build on the progress being made across both regions and support the delivery of much-needed homes across Wales.”
