South Wales Police are continuing to investigate a robbery in Cardiff city centre in which a teenage boy had his electric bike stolen.

The incident happened at around 9pm on Friday, March 6 on Stuttgarter Strasse, near the junction with Windsor Place.

A 17-year-old boy was approached at traffic lights by two suspects travelling on a moped. The passenger got off and stole the victim’s Carrera e-bike before making off from the scene.

The suspects were last seen heading in the direction of Newport Road.

Both individuals are described as white and were wearing balaclavas at the time of the incident.

Officers are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward as enquiries continue.

Anyone who may have seen the incident, or who has dashcam or CCTV footage from the area around the time, is urged to contact South Wales Police quoting reference number 2600071286.

Information can be provided online via the South Wales Police website, by calling 101, or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. In an emergency, always call 999.
