The end of a farm tenancy has resulted in a genuine and complete dispersal sale of farm implements, machinery, workshop tools and livestock equipment at a Welsh border dairy farm next month.

The sale at Walcot Farm, Chirbury, near Montgomery, on Saturday, March 15, is being organised by Halls auctioneers for Keith Jones, of R. & K. Jones, who is retiring after more than 50 years at the farm.

Mr Jones and his family have farmed at Walcot Farm since the 1970s and will be offering a wide selection of machinery and implements for sale, which will be held live and online through the MartEye auction platform.

The sale begins at 10am with 200 lots of workshop tools and livestock handling and penning equipment, followed by the farm machinery, implements, trailers and tractors at 12pm.

Highlights include a New Holland FX58 forage harvester, a Massey Ferguson 7618 Dyna-6, a Massey Ferguson 6475 Dyna-6, a Massey Ferguson 135, a Manitou MLT 735 loader, a Land Rover Defender 90, a Thomas Bobcat 133-S and a Dell Engineering mobile out of parlour feeder.

The are also another 50 lots of machinery, implements, trailers and trailed equipment in the auction.
