Simple Steps To Join International Online Casinos in Wales!

Wales isn’t known for its casino scene, so most gamblers turn to the online realm for a bit of fun. You’ll find hundreds of casinos advertised online, but they’re all under the watchful eye of the UKGC. It seems unfair that Welsh players have to follow strict UKGC casino rules and many are asking for separate regulations for online casinos in Wales.

That’s unlikely to happen any time soon, but you can join international casinos instead! These sites have no link to the UK Gambling Commission and let you enjoy as much freedom as you wish. How can you join sites like these? Well, start by following these simple steps:

Step 1: Find a list of trusted international casinos

The first step is the easiest. Locate a list of trusted international casinos from a reputable source. The selection of non UK licensed casinos found on CasinoGam.uk is a perfect place to start.

You’ll see all the international sites without a UK licence that Welsh players can join. Immediately, you have a shortlist to wade through and decide which casinos are worth joining. Better still, lists like these typically come with detailed reviews and ratings, so you quickly understand which sites are better than others.

Step 2: Select the features that mean the most to you

International casinos will come with a myriad of features. Many of these may appeal to you while some might not tickle your fancy at all.

Hey, there’s no right or wrong answer here – simply choose the features that mean the most to you. We’ve listed some of the main ones below so you have an idea of what to expect:

    • Banking Methods – Do you need a casino that accepts certain banking methods? If you’re adamant that you must use PayPal or credit cards, then look for sites with these options.
    • Verification Requirements – Is it important to you that the casino has specific verification requirements? Some sites make you upload passport or driving licence details while others don’t have any requirements.
    • Different Game Availability – What’s your favourite casino game? Do you like slots, table games, live games or anything else? Be sure to find a site that caters to your gaming interests.
    • Sports Betting – Some international casinos will let you bet on sports, and some won’t. If you’re a sports fan, this is a huge feature to look for.

You might have other features in mind that aren’t mentioned here, and that’s completely fine. Think about what you love to see from an online casino and then browse through the international sites to select ones that cater to your needs.

Step 3: Compare the best sites you find

After looking at the list of international casinos and picking ones with the features you’re after, you can compare your mini shortlist. Go through each site and read the reviews, paying close attention to things like the user experience or bonus offers.

In an ideal world, the perfect casinos will:

    • Have all the features that mean the most to you
    • Provide an excellent welcome bonus
    • Deliver exceptional customer service

Find reviews with ratings as this is an easy way to make comparisons. You’ll then be able to pick a site and move on to the next step.

Step 4: Create an international casino account

There’s a common misconception that you need a VPN to join international casinos from inside Wales.

    This is false.

VPN laws surrounding online gambling are, shall we say…complicated. It is perfectly legal to use a VPN in Wales and the UK, though the legalities change depending on why you’re using the VPN. If you wish to access content from another country, then there’s no problem. However, if you’re trying to join an online casino by pretending to be located in a different country, you might run into issues.

It’s best to avoid using VPNs when joining overseas casino sites. A good rule of thumb is to only pick sites that let you sign up with your Welsh email, telephone number and address. If you can access the site without a VPN and it lets you use these details, then it’s proof that the site is legal for you to use.

When the web address is blocked and the only way to view the casino is through a VPN, it’s better to avoid it. We’re not saying you will run into legal trouble, but why risk it?

Step 5: Enjoy gambling at international casinos

After following the previous four steps, you’re ready to gamble at international casinos. Make your account, deposit money and play all the international games you like.

Choosing a casino outside of Wales/UK has the following potential benefits:

    • Gamble away from the UKGC and enjoy more privacy
    • Experience fewer restrictions for a more enjoyable experience
    • Play games that aren’t available at UK sites
    • Get bigger bonuses from overseas casinos
    • Use cryptocurrency and credit card payments

Evidently, there are perks to using international sites – which is why so many Welsh punters are eager to give them a go!

    Gambling statement

Underage gambling is an offence. You must be over 18 years old to gamble.

Any form of gambling should always be fun, playing in a way that is right for you. It’s good to set limits, take time out or set up reminders.

Please gamble responsibly and in moderation.
