Street Food Circus will be rolling into Pembrey Country Park for Summer Feastival, the ultimate summer weekend, celebrating food, fun and family over the Summer Solstice (19 – 21 June).

Street Food Circus’ travelling collective of nomadic cooks will be setting up camp to serve a rolling feast from morning until sunset, bringing a full weekend of family entertainment to the Carmarthenshire coast.

With eight miles of golden sand on one side and Pembrey Country Park, full of outdoor adventure, on the other, visitors are invited to experience a world of street food, stay for the circus, or even pitch up a tent for the whole weekend.

Through a new partnership with BBC Wales, this year, Summer Feastival plays host to a new BBC Horizons live music stage, showcasing emerging bands and artists from across Wales.

Families can enjoy a unique mix of entertainment including the ‘World’s Biggest Bouncy Castle’, Attack! Mexican Wrestling, Chris Bullzini’s high wire show and the Incredibly Clever Canine Circus.

There’s hands-on crafting fun with Let’s Make Art collective, a free circus school and Kiss My Putt, the craziest crazy golf. For the grown ups, there will be a new Indie Collectives market showcasing Welsh independent crafts and makers, a village-hall inspired Big Top Picnic featuring local food producers and for the more adventurous, Bull Axe Throwing.

As the sun sets over the sea, Summer Feastival transitions into a laid-back, adult-focused festival vibe. The evening sessions lean into slower beats, live music and a blazing finale from the Pembrokeshire Fire Spinners.

This summer’s culinary line-up features award-winners like The Dough Thrower with their signature 72-hour fermented wood-fired pizzas and Pasta a Mano bringing Welsh flavours to their handmade pasta, alongside a world of flavours including Mar Y Fuego, the fire-to-plate seafood cooks and Mabiko, showcasing an exciting menu of authentic Zimbabwean and South African cuisine.

    The full street food line-up

    • The Queen Pepiada – Venezuelan arepas
    • TNT Tacos – ethical, sustainable and free-range tacos
    • The Dough Thrower – wood-fired pizza
    • Two Lads Kitchen – Afghan BBQ
    • Burger Bros – smash burgers
    • Mar y Fuego – seafood cooked over fire
    • Mabiko – Zimbabwean and South African cuisine
    • Pasta a Mano – handmade pasta from West Wales
    • Paletas – Mexican-inspired fruit ice lollies
    • Poutine Punks – the ultimate Canadian comfort food
    • Churros Hermanos – hand-made fresh churros
    • Drizzle – the disco dessert truck
    • The Coffee Shop – crowd-pleasing classics

Drinks come courtesy of Welsh brewers Tiny Rebel, SFC’s Bobo bar and Lola’s Cocktails, and The Lemonade Stand’s old fashioned classic sodas.

Street Food Circus founder and ringmaster Matt ‘the Hat’ said:

“Pembrey Country Park is our biggest event of the season, and it’s a truly spectacular location. We’re bringing the best of Welsh street food and a circus-full of entertainment and activities for kids and big kids alike.

“With an on-site campsite, people don’t have to rush home. You can have a beach stroll in the morning, explore the feastival and park adventures like the toboggan, miniature railway or dry ski slope by day, and let the music drift you into a warm summer evening. It’s the ultimate summer escape.

“This year we are going all out with more food, more music, and a brand-new live stage. And we’re bringing our new Little Kooks Clwb, our club for curious kids who like to play with their food. Kids go free at all our events, but this year, we’re offering an extra package which includes a Little Kooks Clwb activity backpack with challenges, ideas and foodie inspiration to take home,” he said.

Summer Feastival runs at Pembrey Country Park from Friday 19 June to Sunday 21 June. Opening hours are Friday (4pm – 10pm), Saturday (10am – 10pm), and Sunday (10am – 7pm).

Tickets start at £9.50 and kids go free – book at streetfoodcircus.co.uk.
