Street Food Warehouse are delighted to announce Festival of Fire, a new concept bringing a spark to the picturesque seaside town of Milford Haven! Festival of Fire is a family friendly street food festival focusing on quality chefs cooking wonderful dishes with the theatrical use of fire.

Adding to the fiery spectacle, the internationally renowned, fire production company Walk The Plank will be exhibiting their spectacular, flaming orange fire garden to accompany the sizzling traders! Plus live fire performances and music will be entertaining audiences across the weekend. In partnership with the Celtic Collection’s Tŷ Hotels, the three day festival will see the beautiful Milford Haven Waterfront (SA73 3AF) transformed into a cauldron of fire themed food, sculptures and performances, with the audience invited to enjoy the sights, smells and tastes of fire!

Running over the May Bank Holiday Weekend from 29th April – 1st May, 11am to 10.30pm, around 10 of the tastiest, flaming street food traders and special guest Executive Head Chef, Simon Crockford, of Tŷ Milford Waterfront Hotel,  will be eager to feed every hungry customer. During the daytime it’s free to enter and grab some tasty treats, but come nightfall the event will be ticketed, with the magical immersive fire garden and performances taking place, alongside the irresistible street food! To come along to the Fire Spectacular you’ll need to grab your ticket in advance for the session you’d like to attend.

Situated on the idyllic Milford Waterfront, (SA73 3AF), overlooking the flowing waves and picturesque sunset, Festival of Fire is the perfect place for the whole family to come and enjoy some delicious fiery food, throughout the day and into the evening, this May Bank Holiday weekend.

Street Food Warehouse is thrilled to have Milford Waterfront and Tŷ Hotels as partners for this event. Over the past few years Street Food Warehouse have hosted the popular Milford Haven Street Food Festival and are excited to bring this new idea to the much loved Milford Waterfront. The Celtic Collection’s Tŷ Hotel, is opening Tŷ Milford Waterfront Hotel on 8th April 2022, perfectly timed for visitors to experience both a brand new festival and a newly opened luxury hotel. Their restaurant, Dulse, serves fresh seafood from the Pembrokeshire coastline, inspired by the childhood of Executive Head Chef Simon Crockford. Simon will be making a special guest appearance at the festival with cooking demonstrations of a range of the restaurant’s favourite dishes all with a fiery theme.

Street Food Warehouse are the company behind the finest street food festivals across the Welsh and South West coasts. From Devon to Swansea and Dorset to Aberystwyth, they have cemented their reputation hosting deliciously successful events for over 5 years. This will be the first time they present their Festival of Fire to the idyllic waterfront of Milford Haven.

Festival of Fire are excited to announce that Walk the Plank, Manchester based creative events fire specialists, will be dazzling customers with their amazingly innovative displays! They have worked on numerous projects over the past ten years to produce some incredible attractions, for example at the popular ‘Christmas at Bute Park’ also in partnership with Street Food Warehouse. Their handcrafted, intricate fire sculptures will transform the waterfront into a sea of wonder, as the audience is absorbed by the flaming beauty along with all the mouth-watering food on offer!

Festival of Fire will have quality traders serving in Milford, like the award winning Fire and Flank, who won ‘Best Main Dish’ at the British Street Food Awards 2021, with their flame-thrown steaks. There will also be outstanding Afghan dishes from the amazing Two Lads Kitchen and mouth watering BBQ dishes, like garlic infused smoked paprika prawns from Smoke and Embers! Sweet tooth? How about an oozing marshmallow, toasted on an open fire, and squished into a delicious s’more? Truly the food will be phenomenal and all cooked using fire!

Don’t worry, Street Food Warehouse hasn’t forgotten the need to quench everyone’s thirst. Freedom Brewery will be supplying refreshing beers, poured from ice cold taps to quench your thirst all weekend long. Serving the drinks will be Pop Up Bar Hire Co who will be fully stocked, serving everything from zesty mojitos and sparkling pink gin, to apple juice and San Pellegrino. Whatever fiery food you choose they’re sure to have a cooling drink to match!

This event is going cashless so don’t forget to bring your cards (or at least someone who can pay for you), otherwise you won’t be able to enjoy any of the wonderful treats on offer!

As previously mentioned, during the daytime 11am-6pm entry is free! You can come and enjoy the range of wonderful street food on offer. You will still need a free ticket to enter which can be found using the link below. Into the evening from 6:30pm – 10.30pm the event will be ticketed. £5 for Adults and £3 for children. This gains you entry into the fire themed, dazzling spectacle of sculptures and performances provided by Walk the Plank. A perfect complement to the fiery food on offer from all the delicious street food traders!
