    Top motor events for motor enthusiasts in 2022

    With many of the motor shows now done for the year, it’s time to look ahead. Whether you are looking for a way to treat yourself or are looking for a gift for the motor enthusiast in your life, these top motor events are all excellent ways to treat yourself and help support your community.

    The MGB 60th Anniversary Car Show – 29th May 2022

    Head over to Petersfield Village in 2022 to attend the 60th anniversary of the ever-iconic British sports car, the MGB. Visit 29thMay 2022 and head to Petersfield Village to see some of the best maintained MGB vehicles in the country. This is the perfect event and free to attend. Go with the family and explore the classic car show, as well as the many food and refreshment stalls throughout the area.

    The Lancaster Insurance – 17th July 2022

    Lancaster Insurance has managed and sponsored the annual Charity Classic and Supercars Show for 16 years now, and the event coming up on 17th July 2022 will be its 17th. Visit to see over 2000 classic cars, supercars, and specialty cars from over 40 different car clubs all around the country.

    The event will take place at Sherborne Castle, and on top of seeing these beautiful vehicles, there will also be live music, plenty of food options, great picnic options, and entertainment for the kids.

    Pay in advance, and your ticket will only be £13. Children under 16 years accompanied by an adult go free. Dogs are welcome, and parking is free, so head over to Sherborne Castle this 17th July for a great experience.

    Courtyard Motor Show – 24th July 2022

    The Courtyard Motor show plans on coming back bigger and better than ever this 24th July 2022. Unlike other shows, this fundraising event encourages motorist enthusiasts to come and show off their vehicles. There is a £5 entry fee for motorists, and vehicle owners can make an additional donation if they want to join the autojumble. It’s the perfect excuse to show off your classic car, buy number plates that are custom and perfectly suited to your vehicle, and meet others who are fans of your vehicle all at once. The event is free to attend, so if you don’t have a vehicle to show off, you can come by to the Courtyard Centre for the Arts in Hereford and see a great collection for yourself.

    Classic Car, Sports Car, and TVR Show – 29th August 2022

    The TVR Griffith is an iconic British sports vehicle and famous for its roaring rev, and every year at 1 pm, you’ll be able to hear every TVR roaring simultaneously at the TVR Roar event that thrills attendees every time. Come to see a wide range of iconic cars, buy sports car memorabilia, and explore the many stalls for food and drink in this incredible sporting event in Petersfield Village.

    Visit the local sports show right here in Wales and enjoy seeing, showing off, and immersing yourself in the best of the best.
