A single ticket holder in the UK has won a life changing £181 million EuroMillions jackpot, making it the biggest National Lottery win of the year so far.

The massive prize was won in Tuesday night’s draw after one player correctly matched all five main numbers, 12, 14, 27, 44 and 50, along with the two Lucky Star numbers, 04 and 12.

The win makes the mystery ticket holder the third biggest UK National Lottery winner of all time and instantly places them among some of the wealthiest figures in the country.

Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at Allwyn, the operator of The National Lottery, said: “Brilliant news, someone in the UK has scooped a life-changing £181M! That makes this the biggest win of 2026 so far and the third biggest UK National Lottery winner of all time. With that size fortune, this lucky winner would have wealth on a par with the likes of Adele (worth an estimated £170M). Just imagine the kind of lifestyle that could unlock! Anyone who bought a ticket should take a moment to check it carefully – you could be the winner we’re looking for.

“If that’s not enough – this Friday’s incredible draw will also see 13 guaranteed UK millionaires made. And, if you buy two or more lines online for the very same draw, you will be in with a chance to win one of 13 holidays for two adults to the stunning Seychelles. Talk about a not-so-unlucky Friday the 13th!

“Playing any National Lottery game is about so much more than the chance to celebrate a big win. Every week, players help raise around £32M for Good Cause projects that make a real difference to communities across the UK.”

The National Lottery said players who bought a ticket for Tuesday’s draw should check their numbers carefully.

Winners have 180 days from the date of the draw to come forward and claim their prize.
