Brought to you by the curators of Kongs – Cardiff’s newest lounge bar, “The Underdog” will be opening its doors on May 18th.

Located on Guildhall Place, Cardiff CF10 1EB, the much-anticipated launch follows 5 successful years of “Kongs” residency on St Marys Street. The venue combines kitsch basement decor, neon lighting and pool, with your favourite local brews, classics and new cocktails. Of course, the music will be driving the ethos and atmosphere of “The Underdog” as is synonymous with partnering bar Kongs.

This launch is definitely one to add to your diary!

Nestled away on Guildhall Place across from ‘The Vermut Bar’, THE UNDERDOG offers an escape from the mundane.

With dusky lighting, neon lights, crescent shapes and prototypical carpet – nodding to 80’s nostalgia, this bar creates an intimate & quirky atmosphere.

Drink with your friends, a date, your dog, or simply yourself whilst enjoying great music.

Immerse yourself in 90s house, hip hop, disco, funk, and more, all represented in a fresh mix for our generation.

What can we eat? With West Pizza you can indulge in delicious New York style pizzas by the slice, or 18’’ whole if you’re really hungry! The freshest ingredients, brought to you by “the Pizza Boys” (as seen on the BBC) will satisfy your taste buds & pizza cravings.
