The 4-star independent Vale Resort is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a significant investment of £100,000 to update and refurbish the Vale Spa. The renovation is expected to be completed by Spring 2025 and will see all treatment rooms completely refurbished, new relaxation spaces created and the inception of a fire and ice experience.

Phase One has transformed eight of the spa’s treatment rooms, with a totally new and relaxing look and feel, using neutral tones and gold accents to achieve a peaceful and contemporary environment in which guests can totally unwind.

Upcoming phases include the refurbishment of the remaining treatment rooms, moving the current sleep zone to an even more relaxing part of the spa, the inception of the fire and ice experience (which will contain both ice machines and a sauna), creating additional relaxation rooms (including one that has a balcony overlooking the swimming pool), as well as updating the entrance space and waiting area.

Some of the current treatment rooms may also be combined to create larger rooms for groups and parties, and at least one of the new relaxation rooms will be available for hire by groups and parties on an exclusive basis.

The Vale Spa has won numerous industry awards over the years, including Best Resort Spa for seven consecutive years (2017-2023) at the World Travel Awards.

Debbie Searle, Spa Manager at valeresort.com, commented on the investment into the Vale Spa:

“We don’t take for granted that we’ve won Best Resort Spa seven years running, but we’re incredibly thrilled to be investing heavily into improving the spa even further and enhancing the experience that we already offer our guests. Phase One has already proven to be very popular with our guests and we’re excited to roll out additional phases with the aim of completing the work by spring next year.”
