A Welsh digital consultancy headquartered in Cardiff has appointed a new Managing Director as it prepares for further growth across the UK.

Stable has announced that Ryan Lewis has stepped into the role, marking what the company describes as an important moment as it approaches its 25 year milestone and expands its national reach.

Founded in 2001, the consultancy has spent more than two decades helping organisations modernise the way they work through secure and people focused digital transformation. As it enters its next phase, the company says it is taking a more outward looking role in supporting Wales’ growing reputation as a centre for AI driven modernisation.

Lewis has been closely involved in shaping the company’s strategy in recent years and will now lead the business as it looks to strengthen its presence across Wales and the wider UK.

“Wales is building real digital momentum – and we intend to help fuel it,” said Ryan Lewis, Managing Director. “Stable has always believed that technology alone doesn’t transform organisations – people do. Our focus now is on helping teams feel confident, capable and ready for modern ways of working. Organisations want partners who understand both technology and the human reality of change. Our ambition is to strengthen Wales’ digital capability while expanding our contribution across the UK.”

Stable’s growth has been driven by long term partnerships focused on service modernisation, secure digital environments and helping organisations adopt new ways of working. The company has also invested in innovation, including the development of Sgript, its first AI enabled product designed to simplify everyday tasks, improve collaboration and support secure digital workplaces.

Founder and CEO Anwen Aspden said the appointment reflects a wider strengthening of the company’s leadership as it prepares for its next phase.

“Ryan’s appointment marks an important moment for Stable,” said Anwen Aspden, Founder and CEO. “We are strengthening our leadership, sharpening our focus and scaling our capability – combining clarity, trust and agility with the pace needed to help organisations deliver meaningful, measurable change.”

Stable works with organisations across the UK, including public sector bodies, education providers, defence organisations and third sector partners. The company specialises in helping organisations modernise their digital workplaces while meeting strict security and compliance requirements

Before joining Stable, Lewis served as a commissioned officer in the Armed Forces and later held senior roles with Microsoft, where he led digital transformation programmes across the UK.

The Cardiff based consultancy is a Microsoft Partner and focuses on modern workplace technology, secure collaboration and digital transformation for organisations operating in regulated industries.
